Toxicological

The basic view of toxicology is that any substances or compounds that can causes the adverse effect (toxicant) level at dose-dependent manner; even water can also leads to water intoxication when taken in too high a dose level, whereas for even a very toxic substance such as snake venom there is a dose below which there is no detectable toxic effect. Toxicity is species-specific, making cross-species analysis problematic. Newer paradigms and metrics are evolving to bypass animal testing, while maintaining the concept of toxicity endpoints. Toxicity can be defined as any chemical substance or a particular mixture of substances which can damage to any organs of animals as well as plants.
